Here are a few quick guidelines that we use when creating your new website. How does your current website stack up?
- It should take no longer than three seconds for the visitor to know what you do.
- All content should be clearly organized under 3 – 7 menu items.
- Each page within the site should have a consistent look and navigation.
- All content should be designed to be search-engine friendly.
- Form should follow function. Don’t have things flying around the screen “just because.”
- Contact information should be clearly visible or accessible from every page within the site.
- Links and other clickable elements should indicate that they are, indeed, click-able.
